Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc Reveals Spring 2024 Release, 1-Hour Premiere, New World Tour

In a recent "Promotion Reel 2024" video for Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc: Kimetsu no Yaiba, it has been revealed that the Hashira Training Arc is set to be released in Spring 2024. The first episode is anticipated to be an hour-long special. Additionally, a new World Tour is scheduled to commence in February 2024.

The new World Tour, titled "Demon Slayer s3: Kimetsu no Yaiba To the Hashira Training," is set to showcase a compilation featuring the 11th episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc and the commencement of the Hashira Training Arc. The tour will commence on February 2 in Tokyo, launching with a special two-day screening event that includes guest appearances. The tour will extend to various international locations, including New York (February 10), Seoul (February 11), Mexico City (February 17), Singapore (February 17), Jakarta (February 18), Paris (February 24), Taipei (February 24), London (February 25), and Hong Kong (February 25), each featuring guest appearances as well.

As per the promotion reel, screenings for the new World Tour, "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba To the Hashira Training," are planned to take place in "over 140 countries and regions." This represents a notable increase from the previous count of 80 countries for the screening of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village-.

The Hashira Training Arc was officially announced in June, following the conclusion of the Swordsmith Village Arc. The Swordsmith Village Arc commenced in April and comprises 11 episodes, with both the first and last episodes having extended lengths.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an adaptation of the manga written by Koyoharu Gotouge and published by Shueisha. The manga, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2016 to 2020, spans 23 tankoubon volumes. Mastering the art of demon slaying proves to be a formidable challenge for Tanjiro, and he finds himself at a loss on where to begin. The unexpected arrival of another boy named Giyu, who appears to be well-versed in the situation, could potentially offer some insights. However, Tanjiro must navigate the precarious situation and prevent Giyu from harming his sister if he hopes to unravel the mysteries surrounding demon destruction.

The initial season of the anime debuted in 2019, and it was succeeded by the immensely successful Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train in 2020. Following this, there was a TV broadcast version of Mugen Train that premiered in October 2021, and subsequently, the Entertainment District Arc unfolded from December 2021 to February 2022.
